In our 2 1/2 years together Meat Joy weighed in on variety of topics: low wage worker inequity, female body and breast size, religion, homophobia, aging, eating disorders, recurring nightmares, unrequited love, lesbian love, unrequited lesbian love, class, drug trips, social anxiety, tyranny (personal and political), sexual abuse, chaos theory, patriarchy and power, self doubt, death, sexual awakening, and a motorcycle accident.  Through all of these explorations—many of them dealing with difficult or unpleasant subjects—we sought truth and found joy.
